About Michael and Hugh

Michael Connolly has been buying property in Sydney for over 20 years. First as a hobby and now as a full-time career. Originally from Ireland, Michael settled in Sydney in 2000 and is currently living in Elizabeth Bay with his partner Hugh, together they own an ever-growing portfolio of properties in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. 


Before moving into professional buying Michael held various corporate roles including purchasing commercial sites and negotiating high-value sales, but he felt something was missing. Pursuing his passion, he's been working as a buyer’s agent since 2015 and is confidently a leading expert in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. 


Being Irish means Michael loves a good chat, he's built up many a good network with sales agents across the Eastern Suburbs, meaning they’ll often come to him first with new opportunities.

Hugh Murray-Walker is a keen property investor, he’s been buying and renovating properties for over 20 years. With a strong interest in architecture and design, Hugh loves buying and renovating undervalued properties. While he has sold a few he mainly follows a “buy to renovate to rent” strategy of investment and enjoys watching the portfolio grow. 


Born and raised in Sydney, Hugh has a locals knowledge of the Eastern Suburbs. Hugh is also a keen sailor, together with Michael and crew they race their yacht Oscar³ competitively on Sydney Harbour.
